This interactive globe shows launch emissions and launch vehicle trajectories for the year 2024.
The tiles on the surface represent the emission mass for the selected atmospheric layer and chemical species. The color indicates the emission mass.
The trajectory lines show the ascent path of each launch vehicle. Dashed lines represent booster descent trajectories. The color indicates the launch vehicle.
Click emission cells or trajectories for additional information. Use the legend in the bottom left corner to interpret vehicle colors and the emission mass color scale.
The plot is interactive, and the following panels and controls are available:
- Options: In the top left corner, you can expand the options menu to adjust the displayed data. You can select the atmospheric Layer and emission Species. You can also filter by Time window, Launch Vehicle, trajectory Segment, or individual Launch. Emissions and trajectories can also be hidden completely.
- Legend: In the bottom left corner, you can hide or expand the legend.
- Plots: In the middle of the right side, you can expand or hide two plots. These show the total emission mass and the altitude distribution for the currently selected options.
- Toolbar: In the top right corner, you can find the Help button to open this window, the Home button to reset the perspective, and the Globe button to change the map view.
- Rotation: In the bottom right corner, you can find a button to toggle the rotation of the globe.
